Redbrick Barn is an ideal blank canvas space which can be hired as a whole and is ideal for parties, dancing, award ceremonies, media events, presentations and wedding receptions.

History and Location

Known as an Essex barn by design, it was originally used as a storage area for farm equipment and dates back to the 17th Century. Over the last 10 years it has been slowly transformed into an enchantingly atmospheric entertainment venue. It also acts as a mini theatre, complete with stage, full lighting and sound.

Sutton Hall Farm is just outside Rochford, a town near Southend-on-Sea in Essex. The farm entrance is at the beginning of a tree-lined drive leading to the Red Brick Barn. There is plenty of free parking outside the Barn and easy access to toilets with a disabled block.

Areas and dimensions

The barn has a main area/auditorium and reception entrance with heating throughout, 

stage with full lighting,

  dressing room with entrance to stage,

 kitchen with serving hatch that can act as a bar to supply food and drink to the auditorium.

Please note that although there is a kitchen for outside catering it has no running water. The barn has no alcohol license but it may be consumed if brought to the premises.
